Mariella Frostrup is a British journalist & broadcaster, a respected arts critic, and a passionate advocate & campaigner on women’s rights and gender equality. Best known for her work with BBC or Sky Arts, Mariella has also been active in the charity sector for two decades, having worked on Bank Aid and Comic Relief along with various fundraising initiatives for Oxfam, The Children’s Society and Save the Children. Co-founding and devoting herself to The GREAT Initiative, she has recently made several trips to Africa to meet women and young girls in their communities, experiencing firsthand the realities and inequalities of their lives.
