Creator of the acclaimed HBO drama series Succession, British screenwriter Jesse Armstrong will reveal the creative process behind the writing of a TV series, and more. Taking as example his own journey from the UK Parliament to Hollywood, Jesse will explore the path to becoming a successful writer, give some insights into the media landscape, and reflect on the future of the industry when AI takes over.

Jesse Armstrong is a British and Academy Award nominated screenwriter and producer. He is the renowned creator of the HBO drama series Succession, for which he a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. Jesse started as a researcher for a Labour MP. He then began his writing career with the Channel 4 sketch show Smack the Pony and the children's shows The Queen's Nose and My Parents Are Aliens. He went on to create and write BAFTA-winning comedy Peep Show, BBC One sitcom The Old Guys, and Channel 4 comedy dramas Fresh Meat and Babylon.
