How can we heal a divided world?

A talk with Michèle Lamont

Catalyst  Ideas Festival  / Sun 3rd Dec / 4-5pm

We live in a divided world where everyone thinks their perception of the world is the right one.

Harvard sociologist Michèle Lamont argues that to be able to live together again, we need to be able to acknowledge others and their difference. Accepting that others have different experiences that shape their own understanding of the world is the way forward to building a more inclusive and tolerant society.
