Here is your chance to unleash your creativity and share your idea of... something hopeful!  

As the Ideas Festival explores the key issues and ideas of our time with an open mind and through thoughtful conversations, new ways of seeing the world emerge, fresh thinking is stimulated, old problems find new solutions. We invite the public to take a creative leap, offer their view of better scenarios and possibilities. And write it down. 

Hit your keyboard or reach for pen and paper. Here's how you can take part.

 Theme 
Maybe it’s hard, but what's making you hopeful in the last days of 2023? We invite you to get thinking, get writing, and share your original stories and poems for hope at the Brussels Ideas Festival!  
 Conditions for participation:  
 There are two categories in the competition: short stories and poetry. You may submit one entry per category.  

Entries of max 1,000 words in English are to be submitted to the Full Circle Ideas Festival Committee by completing the google form and attaching your work. You can find the link here: https://forms.gle/Wis2HDveyx3Hq3ag6 

(Please note that entries composed via ChatGPT or similar software will be disqualified). 

 Deadline:  
Friday 24th November 2023 at 23.59 CET.

 Who can enter? 
Anyone (human) can enter the contest, we simply ask that all entries be written in English. 
 Practical:  
3 entries will be pre-selected in the week before the Festival and the winner will be announced during the Festival. 

 Prize 
A public reading slot at the Festival, a chance to present the work to Brussels’ creative community at a Creative Mornings’ session in 2024, your work published on the Full Circle website, and the opportunity to participate as a judge in next year’s competition.
