ABOUT

Tristram Stuart is a campaigner and activist against the global food waste. He is the founder of Feeding the 5000, a campaign enacted by giving delicious free lunch using only ingredients that otherwise would go to waste. Already a winner of the international environmental award The Sophie Prize (2011) for his fight against food waste, the National Geographic Society has chosen Tristram as 2014 Emerging Explorer, together with other selected visionaries and doers whose ideas and accomplishments are making a difference in the world.
