Chewing the Fat presents a new series of immersive talks about food and the hidden socio-cultural, gastronomic, aesthetic and ecological questions surrounding what we love to eat.
This first session explores the issue of food in a crisis: as we face the intersection of geopolitical, energy and health crises, how can we expect our relationship to food and the way we eat to change? What are our responsibilities as consumers, as citizens, as members of different communities? And above all, what is the role of pleasure in all of that?
A panel of speakers from across food sector will share their views: from the geopolitical to the local, and from policy to plate, all with a uniquely Brussels twist.
